There's one picture from a news paper that I had , but can't seem to find. It was a cartoon of a ghost leaving Pine Point with a suitcase & someone saying to it " Be sure to shut the lights off when you leave". It would be great on this site, so if anyone has it PLEASE scan it & send it.
Hey everyone, if you scan pictures to email to me they have to be done a certain way. I've been sent some great pics I couldn't use, so below are instuctions on the way to send them.
1. Scan the picture
2. Where it sayswhere to gochoose outlook expressor the email program you use.
3. Go to output type & choosebest picture
4. Click cursor on the pic you scanned, you should get a dotted outline around it. Click your cursor on the bigger of the dots & bring it in toward the pic. You can trim & send only the part of the picture you want to send.
5. Then click send & an email will pop up after it scans it again, just type in my address & send.
I'm glad everyone likes the site so far & if anyone has any suggestion please feel free to email me. I've had a few already like the page for Recent Pictures Page& one for an Obituary Page, but I'm not sure of that one, so please email me with your feeling on that. This is a site for all of us Pine Pointers & I'm just the guy who puts the stuff on the site. I have room on this site hundreds of pictures, so start sending.
Ok, I set up an Obit page since I've had quite abit of positive feed back & nothing negative. If you want your loved ones added just send me a picture through the mail or as an email with what you want me to add with the picture, anything you want. I've already added my own picture to the page. Pine Pointers will live on on this site & not be forgotten. My address is on the address page for those who want to send pictures through the mail.
Hi again, I had to readd some pictures to the site they just disappeared. So if anyone was wondering. I've put them back on the 1st page of People of Pine Point. Hope I don't lose anymore. If anyone notices pics that were there, but aren't anymore please let me know.
Hi everyone, I've been having trouble with our site. I can't seem to put anything on the pages or when I do they don't show up for a few days. I've made a new home page, the url to the new page is http://pinepointrevisited.homestead.com/PinePoint1.htmlclick on the url to the left & add it to your favorites. Sorry for the inconvenience, but hopefully they can straighten out the problem.

Hi Everyone, I noticed Cindy was worried about leaving messages in the Guestbook. Don't worry about it, write an essay if you want. It's there to do whatever you want with it. I'd like to see a note from everyone who visits this site, the more the merrier. So everyone start writting ( poems, notes, comments whatever )
Hello Again. When you visit the site it's a good idea to refresh the page a couple of times to make sure all of the updates are showing. The site sticks once in awhile & doesn't update the page sometimes. I wish I'd know that sooner instead of rebuilding a whole new page which I've done a couple of times already...Richard.
Hi Again, I just found out that if you lose the link to our Pine Point site you can go to www.aol.com & www.msn.com type in pine point revisited& they will bring you to the Hay River & Links River sites that are linked to our site. I've had a few inquires about what search engines were best to find the PP site, because they've lost it. I'm trying to make it easier to find, but these free search engines are pretty touchy & I'm still learning. I've even set up another home page http://pinepointrevisited.homestad.com/Pine_Point.html along with the other 2 I have on the site, so it'll be easier to find until I've got this figured out.....Richard.
Hi again all. The site is paid up for 2 more years. The next payment date is 7/16/04. Again I'd like to thank everyone who sent in contrubutions & keeping Pine Point alive through this site. It was very much appreciated by everyone . Those of you that have pictures dig them out & send them my way. We're open for business.....Richard.
Hi everyone, this notice is to everyone who' ve sent me e-mails . Sorry I haven't responded to your e-mailscan, but my hands now are totally useless because of my MS but now I have a voice recognition program, that really helps a lot. So anyone sending me e-mails now I should be able to respond to them now, but still working out the kinks......Richard.

Richard has asked me to let you all know that I am helping him with the site and if you have any pictures you want added you can email them to me at [email protected](Please put PinePoint pictures in the subject line) We all have one common goal, and that is to keep the memory of Pine Point alive so the more help the better and we can all work towards that goal!
