Tribute to Richard
This website is dedicated to our friend, brother Richard Cloutier ,who worked tirelessly on creating it and would became his labor of love. Although therapeutic for him, his main goal was to keep us all connected and Pine Point's memory alive.
Home might not be there anymore but thru his legacy we can always go home.
Richard Laurent Cloutier was born January 1963 in Spirit River Alberta, the eldest of three children to Lawrence and Jeanne Cloutier.
The family moved to Pine Point in 1970
Richard was very active in the community he loved hunting, fishing, enjoyed playing hockey and broomball and later Taekwondo.
He married Rhonda MacEachern on June 14 1986 in Pine Point
While living in Pine Point Richard work on the fuel truck for Cominco, he remained in Pine Point on the skeleton crew when the town was shutting down so he literally turned the lights off!
In 1988 Richard was diagnosed with MS
In 1990 Richard and Rhonda moved to Victoria
Born January 1963 died November 25, 2021 at the age of 58
